Then we invite you to audition for one of only 10 places in AMTA’S elite Musical Theatre Intensive Weekly Masterclasses, running in both Sydney and Melbourne from July - December 2024.

We will be running 3 streams in each city

Over 20 masterclasses participants will work intimately with Australia's leading musical theatre directors, casting and theatrical agents, performers, choreographers, vocal and accent coaches, musical directors and theatre makers covering all aspects of musical theatre audition technique, performance skills, career development and professional mindset – with each masterclass responding to current audition opportunities and tailored specifically to the 10 participants in each age group.

The Melbourne course will be led by musical theatre star and Australia's foremost teacher of audition technique, Queenie van de Zandt, while in Sydney, the course will be led by distinguished veteran of musical theatre and renowned vocal coach Margi de Ferranti.

Our former students are currently playing leading roles in every commercial musical playing in Australia, including Chicago, Beauty & the Beast, Miss Saigon, & Juliet, Wicked, TINA - The Tina Turner Musical, ELVIS: The Musical Revolution, Groundhog Day, Sunset Boulevard, RENT and Grease!
